Concra Wood Golf and Country Club is the latest stage in the evolution of Castleblayney Golf Club.
Founded as a 9 hole course in 1905, opposite the entrance to Concra Wood, it closed in 1949. In 1985, it was reborn in the grounds of Hope Castle (visible across Lough Muckno), before moving to its current location in 2008, and expanding to 18 holes.

Anyone owning a share in Concra Wood Golf Club is entitled to full membership.

Availing of the playing rights of a Concra Wood Golf & Country Club Shareholder.

Distance membership available to those who live outside a 50km radius to Concra Wood.

Beginner Member
Special limited offer for beginner membership. Beginners are eligible for everyday course use, but cannot fully compete in competitions.

Overseas Membership
To qualify for our overseas membership you must live outside the island of Ireland including Northern Ireland for the majority of the year.

Junior membership is available to those that are the age of 17-23 and are still attending education.

Juvenile Membership
To qualify for our Juvenile membership you cannot hold a handicap in any other club and this is only available up to the age of 17.

Ready to Compete?
Concra Wood Golf Club Open Competitions are open to any member of a WHS club.
To avail of the rate on the day you must have WHS Handicap number card to sign into open competitions.
