I recently had the absolute pleasure of playing this fantastic course for the first time. People highly recommend it (now that I’m back to golf) and trust me, it was ‘A Concra Wood View’ beyond expectations… what a course! The facilities and staff are absolutely top notch with a special ‘Thank You’ to Mickey (starter), who made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. “Hay Mickey, thank you for the line… don’t expect us to get away like that ever again!” 🙂

Beware the Black tees, which are fun, if ya like that sort of thing…  The most enjoyable 32 off 25 I’ve ever had. Thanks to the green keepers for that, they were running the perfect 10 and many of the holes found my ball!

Finally, trust Mickey when he says “buggies on the path only on the 10th” … Keep your camera out, you’ll soon seen why!!! I’ve never hit an 8iron as far in my life!

Thanks again folks, see you very soon.
“What a course”!

Excellent 2 days of golf. Beautiful setting surrounded by lakes and a very challenging layout with some spectacular holes. Ate in the clubhouse both days and nice food and very friendly staff.

Martin Gilleran

Great course, one of the best I’ve ever played. Beautiful views. Club house is top class and food is delicious.

Staff and members welcomed us warmly at the Wednesday Open Competition. The fairways were well maintained and the greens true. Pace of play was good with time for photos at this very picturesque course.

The electric buggies with GPS showing layout of each hole was brilliant. You get the exercise without undue exertion but still now how to play the course!

Merchandise in the pro shop was sufficient and sensibly priced, so we succumbed to temptation and left with purchases.

We enjoyed lunch at the View Restaurant and interacted with the friendly and efficient serving crew. The Banh Mi was good!

We will certainly recommend friends to include Concra Wood in their golf itinerary when they plan a golfing tour of Ireland! –

Visited the course on Saturday 25th April with our golf society – fabulous organisational help from Louise and Alana and everyone in the proshop – totally seamless experience from start to finish. The food and the service in the View restaurant afterwards was first class too. The course is stunning, especially as the sun shone. Will definitely be back. Bravo!
