Spring League – The Diehards Deliver

8 weeks, all sorts of weather, and more than a few layers of clothing; the McElvaney’s Spring League has come to a close, and fair play to the diehards who stuck it out from start to finish.

Cold mornings, heavy air, the odd sideways breeze… and still managing to swing it sweetly while wrapped up like they were heading for Everest rather than the first tee. That’s proper golf.

As the conditions (finally) begin to improve, it’s no surprise to see the scoring sharpened up towards the finish.
